[ga] Re: Open Letter to Mr Jeff Neuman from The Internet Challenge

Jeff : for your attention

GreatDomains.com - 4852 .biz names for sale

Obviously you need to check if these were put up for sale by the registrants
or malevolently by someone pretending to own them... but 4852 names! What
does that say for your rules?

These include the following Group 2B names from a cursory study of 4 pages
out of 98...

law.biz : registrant JOSHUA BLACKER through SIGNATURE DOMAINS

Great! "Exclusive" registrar list and now it's apparently for sale...

rentalcars.biz : registrant THE WEBSITE INC through DOMAIN REGISTRATION
SERVICES

Another "Exclusive" registrar, and it appears to be for sale

sports.biz $50000
fares.biz $5000
golfcourse.biz $2500
kittens.biz $4000
wellness.biz $10000
dominios.biz $99999
gamblingonline.biz $38000
coin.biz $5800
thailand.biz
baht.biz
revolution.biz
seakayaking.biz
attractive.biz
nutrients.biz
magicman.biz
videogames.biz
e-shop.biz

There's another 95 pages with 4800 more like these!
Then there's the 2000 being advertised for sale at the website of
RegisterNamesHere.com

I'm interested to know what Neulevel's policy is with regard to these
actions. Do they constitute a violation of rules or threat to your integrity
(two of the grounds on which your agreement states you may exercise the
reservation and cancel the domains)?

Thank you for your attention and opinion on this matter. Obviously I should
be particularly interested to know, in the case of law.biz, whether the sale
is genuine - since Signature Domains only obtained 10 registrations in one
of the shortest "exclusive" lists, and all 10 names were registered for
Joshua Blacker, who has admitted being a Partner of the Company. If the name
is now up for sale, is this grounds for cancellation or action by ICANN?

Richard
