Re: [ga] Re: [WLS Conference Call]
Eric and all assembly members,
You should have participated in the teleconference Eric. I am sure
you were missed! >;) You also missed a what I thought were the
two best prepared statements or presentation statements. One
was Chuck Gomes and the other was from Loren Stocker.
I thought Loren's although scathing towards Verisign and
their WLS proposal, was quite accurate in a number of areas
of interest except one, that being the IP part of Lauren's
presentation/prepaired statement. For more see:
http://www.identities.com/vanity/WLSCAM.htm
Well done Loren!
It was also pretty clear that Chuck's presentation or
prepared statement was very good as well and more
than adequately represented Verisigns position, which
was what would be expected as in support of WLS.
However under some questioning, Chuck came up a
little short on answers and had no answer on one
question put to him... And deflected one of my
questions regarding Registrant approval or position...
Almost well done Chuck! >;) Keep plugging...
