Chris and all,
Yo re-make a good point here Chris. We [INEGroup] along with Bob
Joe B, and Jim Fleming have been trying to get this point across for
over two years now. It has been very clear that the ROOT Servers
are entirely vulnerable to a number of attacks and the ICANN staff
in particular has been continuously been made aware of these vulnerabilities
for some time now. Why they really haven't addressed them along with the
huge security/privacy holes in IPv6 is beyond me...
