[ga] We "decided" to defer the election of our ICANN board seats
Apparently, this morning's NC teleconference held the following gem:
The DNSO GA has deferred its election of its ICANN board seats.
I don't know about you, but I'm a member of the DNSO GA. I was never
asked about this. Were you? Was anyone? This is ridiculous.
There was no vote. There was no "determination of consensus". There
were none of the things that would allow anyone to make such a
determination, and yet, there it sits. We're not electing our
ICANN board members now.
I formally request that the DNSO NC as a whole, and each DNSO NC member
as individuals refrain from speaking in any manner for the DNSO GA,
until and unless there is a mandate from the GA itself that you do so.
There aren't words for me to say this strongly enough.
