There was a story on Page 77 of the Oct. 4 issue of Business Week that
projected the number of regular Internet users by yearend 2000:

and Africa 7.5 7.2
Several world organizations are attempting to jump-start technology in some
of these regions in hopes of having positive socio-economic impacts. This
would seem to argue for giving them an official voice in the democracy of
the Internet.
