The last time we
had an election, for GA chair, it was only allowed by the interim NC. They
rubber-stamped the selection. This was because a resounding sea of voices was
loud enough to make them listen. At that time there were many, whom are
now associated with constituencies, that were very vocal in the process. Those
voices, now ensconced in their constituencies, don't seem to care so much for
the GA anymore. <sigh> This is indeed a shame. Divide and conquer seems
to still be a sound strategem, even among the intellectual
elite.
