Realize that the distributed root envioronment that actually exists due to
the various competing root systems is the operational model that this
world is truly running under, and only ICANN customers (those who choose
to have their DNS provided by the Alternate, deprecated ICANN legacy
system) would suffer any outtages when that particular root system becomes
grounded again, and again, etc...
Hey, it's just reality. And besides that, it just makes sense :)
