Yes! ALAC is the *interface* between ICANN and the real At Large. It is an
imposed *interface*. The more *interfaces* ICANN puts between itself and the
democratic self-determination of the real At Large of ordinary internet
users, the better, from ICANN's point of view!

That's the whole game, isn't it?

Keep the people at arm's length. Keep democracy at a distance. Keep critics
at a distance. Create *interfaces* filled with appointed individuals.
