That's not correct. The status quo continues to reign supreme (e.g.
recent drops like Warrior.com and Motherboard.com were caught by
NameWinner, france.net was caught by SnapNames, zdj.com by eNom, all in
the status quo).

WLS cannot be implemented before July 25, 2003 (6 months after RGP)
according to ICANN's Board Decision. The outcome of appeals (by Dotster
and Verisign, and other market participants if/when Verisign ever
announces an Implementation Date) will determine whether WLS will ever
be implemented.
