I doubt if Vittorio went crying off to his mother over that remark! Frankly,
I suspect that the German sense of humour is the problem here. Have you ever
watched "Faulty Towers" and John Cleese doing the "Don't mention the War"
sketch? It is a triumph of irony. Jeff Williams makes a passing and
incoherent allusion to Mussolini and his trains, and you're all up in arms,
and use it as a spurious reason to boot Jeff off the list! For goodness
sake, man, you're acting like Hitler!
