It is vital that the competing root situation for TLDs is resolved at
the earliest opportunity, for the stability of the internet.  Dictat,
from whatever organisation, will not achieve this.  Accordingly, I
consider it essential that representatives of the inclusive root
community are in a position to advise and assist ICANN and other
management bodies.
