I advanced the concept of a "briefing". I do not wish to see that expanded
in any way to "policy", the use of the word "policy", or even the suggestion
that this is an "action item"

Another problem with agenda item 3:
The original charge to the committee working on multiple roots
was to provide an educational briefing on the *technical*
aspects of multiple roots. Please revise the agenda description
accordingly. By the Names Council members' own admission,
we are not ready or well-informed enough to make policy
judgments.
