Re: [registrars] Code of Coduct/Best Practices Debate

Perhps this is a good time to think again about the need for professional
staff support. In previous discussions, I think there has been general
agreement on the need, but the constituency has never progressed discussion
or agreed on any funding support model.
While there are a range of funding models we could choose, for the sake of
aadministrative simpicity, we could start by seeking constituncy agreement
to bill each Registrar $US1000 to support professional staff. Larger
Registries should be invited to provide additional sponsorship and I think
could confidently be expected to commit additional funding support.
