Re: [registrars] Transfer request from Joker.com
Dear Sir,
1.) I consider your mail as a support for those which request that the
losing registrar has to check if the transfer is valid, which I also
support. IMHO it is the duty of the losing registrar to protect his
clients from false transfers. As most registrars have resellers, the
registrars can never be absolutly sure about a transfer (no matter
the reason, could be mistyping).
2.) joker.com never makes an owner-change (as some registrars
offer) at the same time as the transfer. An issue I do not remember
have seen mentioned in the Transfer Draft. That said I do not
consider the domain lost for the owner. If perhaps a false owner-
change was initiated afterwards, I do not see a problem to return the
domain to the original owner.
3.) Please let the case be reported at www.joker.com -> support ->
transfer issues with all the details and joker.com will start an
investigation.

P.S. to BobC: it seems to me that republicans not only in Iraq fire
before asking :-((
