[registrars] ICANN MEETING IN AMSTERDAM 14/15 DECEMBER

Hi guys,

I know this is just after the Shanghai ICANN conference, but is there a 
view that there could be value in holding a further Registrars' 
Constituency meeting in Amsterdam, linked to the forthcoming December 14/15 
ICANN meeting there? There are still a number of issues outstanding of 
concern to Registrars, not least Transfers, WHOIS and Thomas Keller's proposal.

To meet the needs of non-attending North American Registrars would a phone 
bridge be viable?

If there is no consensus on holding a general Registrars meeting in 
Amsterdam, we think there are good grounds for holding at least a meeting 
for European Registrars on topics of concern to us - implications of 
European data protection/privacy regulations on our WHOIS services and 
obligations, forthcoming launch of .EU domains, etc.

We would welcome feedback.
