Subject: [registrars] FW: unauthorized transfer request!

Bruce,

I wanted to know if you as a contact for Network Solutions can help us out. We have tried contacting Network Solutions regarding this issue and they do not want to deal with it, they basically are telling our customer to go directly to the Reseller (DollarDomainName.com) and figure it out. The problem is that the reseller is not really helping out nor are they responding.

Our client, after 2 failed attempts, finally got some of her names transferred over from Network Solutions over to us on the 3rd attempt. The are still 3 pending domain names, for which she has requested the transfer 3 times and she still has to recieve an email from Network Solutions requesting the authorization to transfer. She had the same contact information for all 8 domain names.

Now we are getting requests, to Transfer the names recently transfered in, out to Network Solutions. She claims she did not initiate these transfers. What proof or security mecanisms does Network Solutions or its resellers have in place to prevent fraudalent Transfers?

These names are set to expire on Nov 5, 2002, the last thing she wants to do is pay renewal fees because she was unable to transfer the names over.

Can you please take a look at this. I have attached her original email.

Thank you.

Subject: unauthorized transfer request!

Please help me stop the UNAUTHORIZED transfer requests Dollardomainname.com (Network Solutions) has made on my behalf without my permission.

Dollardomainname.com is asking that several of my domain names currently registered with you (Parava Networks Inc.) be transfered to their company. I did NOT request this!

I wish to keep these domain names registered with Parava Networks:

fivestarpolo.com
livepolo.com
proponies.com
poloville.com
polomonthly.com

Additionally, I have repeatedly requested to transfer three other domain names away from Network Solutions to Parava and my request has been ignored by Network Solutions for many weeks! Here are the names I'm trying to transfer:

lonestarpolo.com
polovista.com
poloview.com

Many thanks for your help! I appreciate the excellent customer service I have received at Parava,

Sincerely,  Amy Wolf
