Subject: [registrars] Names Council Board Vote
Tucows would like to congratulate Mike for prevailing in ballot #27. Our
constituency has voted with clarity that will be useful in guiding our
Names
Council representatives.
To further assist, we propose that given the clear duality in the
results of
the ballot preferring both Mike and Alejandro that our Names Council
representatives vote in a similar fashion. It is my understanding that
our
constituency has 6 votes per ballot. It would seem reasonable that 2/3's
of
these be cast in Mike's favor, 1/3 in Alejandro's, in each round of
balloting until such time that either candidate is no longer on the
ballot,
at which time all 6 votes would be cast for the remaining candidate of
the
two.
