RE: [registrars] Fw: [ga] A kind of hijacking of business?
We got a call from NeuLevel too and did a database query and we cannot find
him in our database.
He could have just stolen our agreement language and not changed anything...
which has happened a few times before.
If anyone actually transfers/renews a name, and it ends up at eNom,
please let me know, but we require the auth-code for .biz names for
everyone, so
I'm really curious how they could move a name to eNom.
It could be a blatant scam to get people's credit card
number with no intention of actually doing anything with the name,
so they don't have to necessarily be a reseller of any registrar.
If someone has more information on the person besides what is in the Tucows
whois output
please let me know that as well.

The dotbiz-renewal Registration Agreement states
>this Agreement, your rights and obligations and all actions contemplated
>by this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United States of
>America and the State of Washington, as if the Agreement was a contract
>wholly entered into and wholly performed within the State of Washington.
>Except as otherwise set forth in the Dispute Policy with respect to
>disputes, any action to enforce this Agreement or any matter relating to
>your use of the Dot Biz Domain Renewal site shall be brought exclusively
>in the United States District Court for the Western District of
>Washington, or if there is no jurisdiction in such court, then in a state
>court in King County.
(For Paul Stahura, eNOM) - Could they be an Enom reseller (King County,
Washington State)?
They also claim to be an accredited Registrar:-
>As an accredited domain name registrar, Dot Biz Domain Renewal is, upon
>accepting your domain name registration application, your sponsor for that
>application.
