[comments-whois] Textile.net

I bought a domain name (textile.net) in 1998 and have kept it current.  On 3/18/02,  "Whois" confirmed this and showed an expiration date of Aug. 14, 2003.

Sometime between 3/19/02 and 10/30/02,  Verisign deleted and resold the name.  When I learned of this (10/30/020) by accident I immediately contacted Verisign and filed a complaint (1-1sfe87). However,  as of today they are unwilling to let me speak with anyone and have not given me any information.

I am an individual, not a corporation who employ a staff of lawyers.  Lawyers, who would have had an injunction against Verisign by now to protect this valuable domain name.  Are there penalties in place to protect the average citizen from going thru an ordeal similar to what I am now experiencing?

The domain name in question is extremely valuable, but this should not matter.
