I'd very much like to explore this further with you, Dominic, whether on or
off-list. I believe it is far more important than any arbitrary WG deadline,
and speaks to truly common need, if not concern.

1. May I ask you to describe the major tenets and characteristics of the
practical system you suggest we could build upon so as to have the DNS scale
appropriately?

2. How would it help in your view to resolve the age-old
indie/infrastructure debacle?

3. Why do you suppose it hasn't already been done?
