Re: [wg-review] CoChair election
First, thank you to everyone who voted. As Sotris and Jefsey have observed,
almost 2/3 of the existing members didn't. Knowing why would be really
interesting.
Second, I hope your faith is justified. Because it's exceptionally
difficult to both advocate and moderate, I won't be advocating positions
from this point - just doing facilitation, collating materials, and trying
to keep a little order here. Any of the four of us - and those who declined
as well - could do this job. Thank you especially to Sotiris, Jefsey, and
David for being willing to stand for election.
Thank you to those who voted for me.
Third, there seems to be a "chair jinx" in the WG. This account is no
longer receiving mail, it seems, since Joop announced the results.
Peculiar, to say the least. If you sent me email today, I haven't gotten
it. Please resend any personal messages to gusion@gusion.com, and I should
be able to get them. I can read the list through the archives, and it still
sends ok, so it shouldn't be too big a problem.

I doubt it, Jefsey - we weren't running on personality or platforms. As far
as I know, we all just were willing to be elected, rather than campaigning.
So no problem :)
