We *really* DON'T want to go there! Since CIDR, most IP numbers are assigned
via ISPs anyway. Iff ICANN starts "pulling" net-blocks based on political
whim or content-based behavior, then ICANN is finished, probably forever. It
violates one of the fundimental co-operative rules that the internet is
based on. Right now, IPv4 assignations are creaky enough as it is and IPv6
has its problems. But, that's a move that could bring down the whole house
of cards in a hurry!
That's not just rocking the boat, that's tipping it over...repeatedly!
