The obfuscation of the issues surrounding domain name definition are the primary cause of employment for many American lawyers and their `partners'.
Two years ago, Bert (not Burt] Fainberg Esq., President of the USOC flat out told me that the US effectively owned the word "Olympic" throughout the
Internet. The concept was interesting... But when I asked him if every little "Olympic" Diner or Cleaners, or "I-don't-know-what" within the borders of the
USA had asked his permission to use the word, he didn't have too much to say. I guess when the size of the market is considered... *of course* Mr.
Fainberg and his `friends' have rights to it before everybody else!!! they *are* after all THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE! they're lawyers.
But, at the time, they certainly sold out a lot of their *present* clients, and have since milked these to recover "their property".
