Article 380 of the US Code of Laws forbids commercial utilization of the words "Olympic" or  "Olympiad" and was enacted as law in 1978.  Funny enough, 
it has a retroactive clause of 28 years into the past... 1950.  It's amazing how they can even turn back the clock like that! One wonders why they didn't 
just go all they way back to 776BC?  Sigh...
