I understand that one of the polls that has been conducted, showed that
76% of the participants supported voting by simple majority, rather than
the "consensus" method.
With such an overwhelming majority, to me, theis working group clearly
supposrts that simple majority votes should be used, and, not
"consensus".
I therefore support a resolution "that this working group has decided,
through voting, that simple majority voting, and, not so-called
"consensus", should be used to determine matters, and, that "consensus"
has been unable to be defined to an extent which the members of the
workinggroup find acceptable."
If that motion has not been moved, then, I move it (if I can), for
inclusion, in the final report.
