RE: [wg-review] Outreach & Education 6
Phil and Eric: I agree with both of you.
A long time ago, around e-mail 575 some of us spoke about public relations.
Not the type that tells the pretty story but the type that truly is an
outreach to explain and educate. This is probably one of the most
important items this group could address. It seems funny that we have the
most sophisticated and fastest form of communication ever available to the
widest amount of people and ICANN / DNSO etc., don't seem able to
communicate.
It might be a good suggestion to put an excellent Communications Director
into place. Someone who understands media, how to spread the word, can
educate, and has no specific agenda except to represent ICANN / DNSO etc.
to the world community. Not a spokesperson ... a Communications Director.

Eric,
The adding of Education to an outreach offort, or going it on it's own
could
be ranked as a "best outcomes" to be produced by this group IMHO.
