Subject: RE: [wg-review] [IDNH] my posting to the ICANN forum
The criticism may be justified but the result is incorrect. It is partly
because
of Kent that after so few months my company has sent me here to Melbourne.
Most
assuredly I say to you do not dishearten yourselves, whether Joop is wrong
or right
It is his persistance that has kept much alive. The Union member's sons who
live
here care. My taxi driver and night watchman care, the mother of a military
boy
who uses the net here to write home cares.
I ask you in the WG-Review to continue caring as Joanna does. Together we
will
make a difference, let that difference be good.
Joanna this may not get posted because of my travelling address, do as you
see fit
with it.
Sincerely,

On how many of the participants in this WG, who have unselfishly

Kent, the comment that sparked this response does not merit repeating. This
does, because it's right on target and IMO, you deserve it. Please remember
that for every one of us here today, there are millions of others who will
walk in our shoes tomorrow. You and your successors cannot browbeat them
all. It should be our mission to make progress with mutual respect and
understanding. I am not singling you out in that respect, but am surprised
that you have apparently failed to notice the relationship between making
comments that induce hard feelings and the incidence of disgruntled
individuals.

and a better ICANN.
True and it is not only the disgruntled individuals who will be heavily
diluted, but also the antagonists who add fuel to the fire in an unhelpful
way....<g>
