Indeed.  After all, why should anyone worry about the stability of
registry operators when the stability of existing domain names
depends on today's mood on the ICANN board?

More seriously, I just can't believe that anyone on the board, at
Verisign, or in the DNSO can even think about policy changes which
would have the effect to remove exiting domain names which were
registered and are being used in good faith and according to the
rules.
