I agree that there is nothing in the existing proposal which will
change the status of *.org.  

However it seems clear that ICANN staff have been in talks about
changing the nature of *.org and people not being allowed to renew
domain names in *.org.  With the tendency of some in ICANN to claim
absolutely everything is a contractual not a policy issue one can not
be sure at some future stage an attempt might not be made to change
the registration criteria as part of the registry contract.

So yes nothing to worry about for now, but the behaviour gives
considerable to worry about for tomorrow.
