This message gives terrific insight to some of the people involved with
ICANN.  There must be total control and you must play by their rules (which
they make up) and seek to impose on the rest of the world.  Anyone who
deviates from their narrow scope and their made-up rules of the world gets
ignored.

In addition, some people live and die by what is posted on mailing lists and
their life would probably be over if the lists were ever to cease operation.
These people often have no idea what is going on in the real world and seem
to be sitting on large wooden sticks.
