Just did some counting: There were 18 people in
favour of the motion, 3 explicitly against it
and 2 questioned whether there is rough consensus.
It's a pity we didn't manage to hold a vote;
there are currently 262 people in the voting
registry. My guess is that there would have been
a clear majority for the recommendation, but IMHO
declaring rough consensus is not a suitable substitute
for a vote just because the time for a vote is lacking.
Harsh? Well, if we want ICANN to follow the rule book,
we have to do so, too.
