1) The legal language in the contracts is far more precise than the
letter. In particular, I believe that the clause concerning the
$5,000,000 is in fact quite clear, and not ambiguous at all.
2) The *only* statement in the letter that has raised any question, to
my recollection, is the statement about appreciation of Vint's personal
committement to support a contract extension, if necessary. This has
absolutely nothing to do with the terms of the contract, and has zero
information about the meaning of the terms of the contract.
