[ga] sunrise policy discussion ....

hello Sanjeev....

if you review the exact sunrise policies the following wording exists in
paragraph 5 : ( located at
http://www.afilias.info/faq/sunrise-challenge-policy.html)

" 5. Maintaining the Status Quo. We will not cancel, transfer, activate,
deactivate, or otherwise change the status of any Domain Name registration
subject to this Policy, except as provided in Paragraph 3 and 4 above. "

Paragraph 3 & 4 outline specific circumstances where "status" may change but
the "initiation" of a challenge does not appear to be one of the
circumstances.

the FAQ as originally stated is correct but does not elaborate enought ( i
believe that is because their is an assumption that the reader of the FAQ
would go directly to the policies for more specificity..

best regards

ken stubbs
