Subject: [registrars] data-mining by a Registrar => course of action ?

Hi,

I seek input from the community.

What should I do when I have direct and irrefutable proof that a
*Registrar* has data-mined our whois (or acquired it through someone
that has data-mined it) ?

The proof being that I received personnaly an email to an email
address that I only use for some of my domain names and which exist
only in whois (never ever used anywhere else).

To be complete, the email received is just pure spam to me (trying to
enroll me as a partner/reseller). I, of course, never requested that.

Regards,
Patrick Mevzek
Gandi.
