Sorry if I wasn't being clear - I was making a general reference that was
occurred to me as a result of Mike's reference - not objecting to Mike's
proposed course of action as it relates to Whois. Straw polls etc. are
fine - but I want to ensure that we don't start compromising the basic
principles for the sake of expediency.
