Isn't it interesting that the introduction of compulsory sharing of the
registry has created so many problems, yet some people still insist that it
must happen in ALL cases?

Fragmenting the WHOIS database is but one of the problems associated with
the shared model. There are also cases of domain names being registered by
the same people.
