Re: [wg-review] 3.Constituencies - RTF Report -2 GA

I have neglected my introduction: I am a member of the NCC. I have been
involved in domain name politics since 1996. I was very heavily
involved in the early formation of the DNSO, and know many details
about
how it developed and why it is the way it is.

Mr. Crispin,

What do you mean you are amember of NCC? Do you represent an ISP?
At least by reviewing your posts it becomes quite clear that you are not
advancing the review process but protecting your "fixation on Control" which
you fought so hard to obtain.

Whether you want to believe it or not the system you fought so hard for, don't
work except in the concept of maintaining power. I hate to tell you but this
WG was not formed to "review the best ways in which those of us in power can
remain", but to review what is wrong with ICANN.

I have found that you are the only person who maintains ICANN is running just
the way it is supposed to. You remind me of the mom with her son in the
marching band who says "oh look everyone is out of step except my boy".

How about for the sake of progress we simply agree that there is nothing wrong
with ICANN except that everyone perceives there is something wrong with
ICANN. Now do you have any suggestions on how we might correct that
misconception.

I suggest a very positive web site ICANNTALK, the unofficial ICANN web site
dedicated to Education and Outreach, where we can allow men of your experience
to answer the publics' questions in a public relations kind of way.

Sincerely,
