Had Roeland's original message indicated in any way that it was PRIVATE or OFFLIST, I would not 
have submitted *any* portion of the comment to the WG.

Perhaps I should have used better judgment before submitting the comment at issue to the WG.  I
apologize to all of you for not having used better judgment in this regard.
