Darryl,
The nice thing about the CIRA mailing was that it
*was* sent out to all eligible .CA domain
registrants. I sympathize with your plight with
regards to the .AU nic. Another point of interest
in the CIRA email is that it makes it clear that
the CIRA election is limited to .CA DN
registrants.
All in all, I must say that I was pleasantly
surprised by the apparent `openess' of the CIRA
announcement.
Perhaps you should consider CCing a copy of the
email to your national NIC with a note attached
outlining your concerns.
