RE: [wg-review] Representative Figures

We've been around this tree before. The BC, IPC, and ISP constituencies
have members who are organizations and/or organizations of
organizations. For example, the International Chambers of Commerce is a
member of the BC -- it has thousands of businesses *and
associations of businesses* who are members, and thus the ICC can
legitimately claim to represent at some level perhaps a million
individual companies.

At the start of WG-Review, I contacted ICC direct to invite their
participation and received absolutely no response whatsoever. I conclude
that they are not at all interested in representing their members interests
to DNSO, however many that may be.

Within their respective classes, there is absolutely no question that
the constituencies are in general quite representative.

I disagree regarding the BC Constituency, see above.

I am also taking this opportunity to note that the gTLD Registries website
is copyright VeriSign 2001. http://www.gtldregistries.org/ It strikes me as
wholly inappropriate for the copyright to the content of a site purporting
to represent the interests of various competitors to be vested interest in
one only.
