That still won't work without strict authentication. The aliased mail is
ample proof of that. What if a message,purportedly from you, were to be
published, by someone else, stating things that were completely at odds with
your views.

In matters of import, we must know who said what, or suffer the same fate as
the constructors of the tower of Babel.
