Apparently I've been less than clear.
I do not favor a rule that prevents disclosure of the set of eligible voters,
those who have voted one time, or have voted multiple times, and those who
have not voted, or the running tallies of votes, until after the close of a
voting period. I do not concure with Bob.
I'm interested in avoiding a mechanism being added at somepoint to the RC
bylaws, that creates some elections commission to solve some future broken
election, which takes the data described in the para above, and reviews it
after the voting period in question closes. That's my personal take on the
issue. I'm also lazy enough to want to know how the corporations types vote,
or the Europeans, or ... the propeller-heads vote, without having to ask at
each ballot-moment, few of which will be of any business consequence at all
if my month-long tenure on this list is a reliable guide.
I'm also not in favor of resolving some issue that might not have much core
substance by quick-ballots, while a bylaws task is pending. I concure with
Ross.
Cheers,
Eric
